Becoming Distant 13A

For a final project we were assigned to do a problem and solution video.  Although, at first I was apprehensive about the assignment, once I started it I realized it was a lot easier than I thought.  As, I progress through my topic I noticed that was lacking something.  To fix this, I plan on incorporating college level thinking.  I’m not only going to state why the problem and solution, but I’m going to state why that is a solution.  That puts all the pieces to the puzzle together.  I plan to ask my friends from home how they feel as I went off to college and whether they feel as if we have drifted apart.  I know I have made new friends and shouldn’t be getting rid of old friends, but that’s what happens when you go to college.  I am going to talk to others who feel as though they are going through a similar situation and how they are going to try to resolve the problem.   I plan on asking professors how being in college can change and mature a person.  For me, being away from college has given me the opportunity to grow and realize I have a much higher maturity level than the friends from home have.  This is a period of crucial time where people learn to grow up and truly become the person they are because they are allowed to.

I will look up statistics and a trend to make others realize that it’s okay to become distant with those from home, because each of you are growing in different ways.  You’re not supposed to have the same exact friends forever.
