The Freedom of College 16V

By living in the United States, we have to right to freedom.  Freedom is the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. Without freedom, we wouldn’t be able to have an opinion, say what we want to say, do what we want to do, and live the way we want to live.  Until one is 18 years old, you have to listen to what your guardian says for you to do.  After that you are free.  College gives young adults the freedom to make decisions on their own and do things they might not do.  In college, you will make bad decisions but its whether you learn from them that makes the real difference.  That’s part of growing up, learning freedom.

New Vocabulary:

Abrogate: to abolish, usually by authority

Magnanimous: noble, generous
