This week
in class we had to opportunity to watch and review our final videos in class
and receive feedback from our classmates.
I was kind of shy about showing my video at first, but then realized how
helpful it really was to do it. My
classmates gave me different ideas on how I can enhance my skit and put more
college level thinking. For my video, I
have created a survey to make up my own statistics because of the difficulty in
finding professional statics and facts.
My skit in my rough draft was extremely hard to hear. I am either going to rerecord the entire skit
and or do a voice over. As my peers
said, it was unclear what was happening in the skit. I am going to give much more of a background
story before going into the skit. I
really liked how I was able to see what worked and what didn’t on the big
screen. I think the one positive thing
about my video was the music. Although,
in the rough draft you weren’t able to understand the lyrics, the song works
with the video is about. I feel as though
seeing what other people’s mistakes were, allowed me to see what worked for
them and what didn’t. I like the idea of
bloopers and if I have enough time for them, I would definitely like to add
some into my videos. I want to include
going to the counseling center and interview or get pamphlets on how they
suggest finding the perfect balance between home friends and school
friends. Looking at the videos in class
definitely help me plan out what I could do with my video. It gave me ideas that I wouldn’t have been
able to think of on my own.
